Grandmaster Jason Gullion is a 9th degree black belt in Shotokan Karate-do and Shankido Kongo Sento Bujitsu. Trained directly by 10th degree Grandmaster Penny Shannon founder of Shanaki Martial Arts Inc. Grandmaster Gullion also hold black belt ranking in Tae Kwon Do, American Freestyle Karate, Kobudo, Maharlika Arnis and Shorinji-Ryu Karate. Along with holding a Basic Instructorship in Modern Arnis and a Certified Sports Arnis Coach.

Grandmaster Gullion has 34 years of experience in the martial arts. He currently serves as Sergeant of Arms for the United States Martial Artist Association. He has been inducted in the USMAA Hall of Fame numerous times. In to the categories of Grandmaster of the Year, Instructor of the Year, Lifetime Achievement awards for 20 and 30 years of practice. He is also an inductee of the World Karate Union Hall of Fame as Master of the Year. And received an award for Cross Training in the Martial Arts from the prestigious Karate 5 association in Knoxville TN.

He is also a former Virginia Karate Allince State Champion and Runner up.
